Representing ‘Taisho Era Romance’ with its Geisha shoes and retro prints, the 2004S/S collection by Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME was quite popular in Japan and beyond. Especially striking was a blouson made from double-sided silk in flamboyant red. This daring piece features an embroidery with a Taisho Modern Girl on the chest, is reversible and so is also wearable as a simpler piece when worn inside out. For innerwear, we combined the piece with a fully patterned shirt from the 2000A/W collection, combining it with 2002S/S leather pants for bottoms, making this a set with only items from the early 2000s.
