The collection of clothes from 1998’s Autumn/Winter season by Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME was launched as ‘clothes that both men and women can wear’. Because of this, even though the brand was started as a line of men’s wear, the models who actually walked the runway were women like Charlotte Rampling and Vivian Westwood, women who had worked at the frontline of fashion. Various women appeared on the runway wearing men’s wear, which was slightly too big for their bodies; among the collection, especially the outerwear items were seen as interesting. This is one of those. The boa which feels a bit too large and the silhouette which has a beautiful A-line gives a fairly feminine impression.
