In November 2015, a large-scale terrorist attack occurred. At the time. the consequent death of more than 130 civilians shocked the world to its core. The first show to be held after the event was the Fashion Week of Autumn/Winter season 2016. The theme presented by COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS was ‘Armor of Peace’. The designs used a lot of leather, and these items using a lot of armor-like elements and flower patterns have remained imprinted in the mind of many fashion lovers since. This is one of the items of the extraordinary collection into which Rei Kawakubo put her own feelings towards this theme of peace.
